Wright, Berkman on the block

David Wright (1st round) and Lance Berkman (4th round) are available, with the hope of an ace starter or speedy outfielder in return. Cheap young starters Scott Kazmir (16th round), Chris Capuano (24th round) and Justin Verlander (21st round) are available to supplement any deal.

Mike Carter was quoted as thinking that "my team is f*ed for 2007" and that "fantasy baseball is for losers." But, notwithstanding team physician Becky Bernstein's hopes, Carter plans on spending "copious" amounts of time leading his team to 4th place.
