It's bullshit. Never liked the term, which was forced. Absolutely no need to embrace it, and I don't know many who do. You can see the breakdown in her attempt, the moment she starts talking about class. "Guido" by contrast, encompassed far more than New Jersey; it was a dominant style throughout my youth.
We'd be better off if we could cull the world of commentary of all would-be Faith Popcorns.
